On Saturday 7th December we were delighted to be part of a select group of innovative companies announced as awardees of this years Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF).
We will be collaborating with NVP Energy & NUI Galway to deliver a first-of-its-kind energy efficient and carbon neutral waste water treatment process on a Dairy processing facility. The project will deliver a unique integration of our Biowave™ microwave treatment technology and NVP Energy’s low temperature anaerobic digestion technology.
This project funding (€1.8m) is a further endorsement of the significant potential of Biowave™ in the treatment of organic wastes for enhanced biogas and biofertiliser production from anaerobic digestion.
DTIF is a major Irish Government innovation funding program, supporting the development and deployment of disruptive innovative technologies on a commercial basis. One of the first funds of its type in the world and is aimed at tackling national and global challenges to secure the jobs of the future.
